Mantra & fasting
Simple, regular practice tied to Mars.
Gemstone (if genuinely needed)
Only where the chart specifically calls for it.
Kumbh Vivah
A traditional symbolic remedy, used in some cases where the dosha is strong and uncancelled.
First, Check Whether a Remedy Is Even Needed
Before getting into remedies, it's worth revisiting the point made in our earlier piece on what Manglik Dosha actually is: a large share of Manglik charts carry a weak dosha or a full cancellation. Jumping to remedies before confirming the dosha genuinely applies is how families end up spending time and money on something their chart didn't need in the first place.
What the Remedies Actually Look Like
Where a genuine, uncancelled dosha is found, the traditional responses include a specific Mangal mantra repeated regularly, fasting or daan on Tuesdays, and gemstone guidance where the chart specifically supports it. Kumbh Vivah — a symbolic ceremony performed before the real wedding — is used in some traditions for stronger cases, though it's far from universally necessary.
